The lonely wolf Ethelwulf sat in the woods of Long Pond looking into the nearly bare tree tops and white sky and listening to the sound of a robin singing. Autumn brown crispy leaves floated down from the branches of the trees and settled on the ground. Ethelwulf used to love the sight of Britain in autumn, but he wasn't in a happy mood now. The British Isles used to be full of other wonderful life forms including bears, elk and of course wolves. But now they seemed as bare as the autumn tree branches in comparison. Ethelwulf closed his eyes after taking one more look around and faded back into the spirit world to be with the other British

Until the end of my life I stand in one spot. Only having moved when I was an acorn. Life will never be the same as then. I get older and nothing gets better, But I carry on living. People come and go, They never stay. People move on, But I don't. I just stand here, For very long time, Until the end of my life
